In Memory of JustinBasil

The Pokémon TCG community lost a remarkable educator, competitor, and creator with the passing of JustinBasil. Through his generosity, knowledge, and dedication, he helped countless players learn the game, improve their skills, and find a deeper appreciation for competitive Pokémon TCG.

Justin was also the creator of the Aceless format, providing the foundation upon which Aceless Academy has been built. His vision of a competitive environment centered on single-Prize Pokémon continues to inspire the community and guide the work we do today.

Aceless Academy exists to continue that vision—supporting fair competition, encouraging learning, and providing a welcoming place for players, judges, organizers, and fans of the format.

We are grateful for everything Justin gave to the Pokémon TCG community and are honored to help carry his format forward.
